Winter Parkour... Success! Well, if you like winter.

YES! Winter parkour was everything we dreamed it would be and more. We were "walking" in a winter wonderland and seeing everything as if it was a first time. Plus it was pretty cold.

BAM! It was pretty cold and by the end we had snow in our socks, but we came out CHAMPIONS! Here's another one..

.

HOORAY. So if you feel cooped up in the winter time, just live your life. Remember all the good times and try something new. Here's a good sequence of a friend of mine doing a reverse vault.

Winter parkour was definitely a huge success. A part of it wasn't the same though. You can't run as fast and your feet get slowed down. You really have you substitute your own strength for momentum. Landing was CAKE though. Seriously, you could fall flat on your face and it wouldn't hurt in the slightest. Pain was just replaced with the icy chill of snow. Well, go try it. Winter parkour will be the new regular parkour.

Winter Parkour

I had this great idea for winter parkour a while back, and I ran it by my comrades. They thought it would be too dangerous, but I think that danger isn't an issue. Complications arose when we actually went outside and tried it. The rails are cold and the snow is fricking freezing when it gets in your socks. We didn't last very long, but we'll get back at it. WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP!

Free Running 101

Hey, I'm your typical suburban teen in the Midwest United States who recruited his friends to help him do one of the newest past times sweeping our nation, no, our world. I'm talking about the new urban gymnastics known as free running. Free running is the Americanized version of parkour, which has developed into an entirely different concept. Free running is the philosophy of freedom of movement, making whatever you're traversing a beautiful and aesthetic work of art, whether it be vaulting or simply acrobatic stunts. Here I will post about my observations and what I learn through this discipline.
